About Us
About Dreams Academy

At Dreams Academy, we create a safe, inspiring space where young boys grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our mission is to equip them with the skills, confidence, and leadership to thrive—both in school and in life.
Founded by Brandon R. Scarborough, Dreams Academy was born from years of mentoring through Kings Academy and Queens Academy. We saw the challenges facing young Black boys and built a school to nurture their talents, affirm their identities, and prepare them for lifelong success.
Our student-centered, culturally relevant curriculum connects real-world learning to personal heritage, building pride and belonging. We focus on leadership development, mental well-being, and community—ensuring each scholar is prepared for a bright future.
With small classes, dedicated mentors, and an environment rooted in collaboration, Dreams Academy is more than a school—it’s a movement to shape confident, capable leaders for tomorrow.

If I get a kid for eight hours, I can change his life.
