Today, you have an opportunity to help young black men and women become strong and successful in all the right ways. You can introduce them to greatness as we close out one year and jump headfirst into another.
With your generous gift right now, you will help us finish out 2021 and begin 2022 with our Dreams Academy and Queens Academy sessions ready to go for young people like Anthony. As you help us reach our goal of $20,000 by year’s end, we’ll be able to move forward:
- Planning and taking our Freedom Center Trip to Cincinnati — our very first overnight road trip in February to celebrate Black History Month!
- Preparing our plans for Dreams Academy and Queens Academy sessions in the spring, summer, and fall of 2022 … including establishing a Leadership Academy, an academic year-long cohort for eighth grade boys.
- In taking students to the African American Museum in D.C. next summer.
- Providing meals for kids at every session we host.
